First things first. Log in to your Gmail account. Navigate to the left-hand corner and click on the gear icon. You will then see a drop-down list. Select the “See all settings” button.
2. Select Filters and Blocked Addresses
This tab is in the top row underneath the settings and is the fifth option from the left.

Double-checking your work never hurts. Take a quick look in your settings to verify your desired email address has been whitelisted correctly. After you select the “Create filter” button you will be led back to the settings page. Look under “Themes” and see what filters are applied to your email.
You should see the email you whitelisted with the message “Never send it to Spam” below it.
Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that everyone who goes through the program will land a job; however, our team works hard to help as many program participants as possible to launch new careers in tech! To date, we’ve helped over 1000 grads across all programs land new roles, and that number is growing quickly. Program participants who take advantage of career readiness resources available to them through our team, create solid projects, leverage their networks, and put in the extra effort to learn when things get tough are often in great shape once they hit the job market.
The job market can be tough overall, and that’s no different for tech. Our careers team will be there to help you every step of the way, and can give insight and advice on how to optimize your resume for the tech industry. Landing your first job in tech is often the hardest, but our team will be there to support you with advice, guidance, and support to continue in your job hunt. We work with some participants who benefit from taking tech-adjacent roles out of the program, and can help with that transition as well.
Our careers team hosts career readiness workshops throughout your time in the program, and each module has its own career readiness requirement to make sure you’re in great shape when you hit the job market at the end of your session. Career coaches will help with resume reviews, interviewing tips, networking guidance, and more. Tech Employer Specialists for each region network with employers to find hot job leads to share with participants in our internal job board.
